    Project:

Title: microRNAs (miRNAs) and their role in painful vs. non-painful polyneuropathies.
Abstract: microRNAs (miRNAs) post-transcriptionally regulate gene expression and have been implicated as biomarkers for a wide range of diseases, including cancer, inflammation and neurological diseases. This projects aims to investigate whether miRNAs are clinically relevant for the induction and maintenance of pain and moreover involved in regulations of pain-like sensations in higher brain centers, pre-clinically.
