Title: Context Conditioning in Virtual Reality
Abstract: Virtual Reality environments are a very useful tool to investigate
anxiety disorders under controlled conditions. The main question of
this study is to examine in which extend fear responses are evoked by
certain cues. In a virtual reality environment a danger and a safety
context are created using a classical context conditioning paradigm.
Then event-related potentials are elicited by the presentation of
screenshots showing scenes in the different contexts in a dangerous or
non-dangerous situation. The cerebral potentials should give some
indication of the cue-specificity of the development of anxiety
    disorders.
