Every university needs a reliable and secure information technology infrastructure. Maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, programs and services is crucial to the success of a university’s operations.

JMU has in place a number of IT policies and guidelines. These assign certain IT-related responsibilities to the Faculty.

To ensure that it is able to fulfil these responsibilities, the Faculty is employing a full-time IT manager.
