Key Facts

  • The course is taught in English (180 ECTS) and therefore students will be offered tutorials to develop their writing skills in English through a tutorial system inspired by the Oxbridge system of supervision

  • German is not required to be accepted, but students are expected to reach B2 level by the end of their studies

  • Students will be expected to learn Arabic or Hebrew

  • No prior knowledge of religion, theology, or philosophy before applying to the course is required

  • The assessment method takes into account both written and oral assessment as well as writing papers

  • This is a program offered under the humanities faculty and does not take a religious perspective although open to all perspectives. So one does not need to be religious or non-religious. We value diversity and take it as our motto therefore this is a program that welcomes everyone.
